As a mother of 3 who homeschools, a wife, and a business owner, I have a full life.
So, giving myself permission to be on the "mom timeline" has been essential to my ability to manifest what I desire to create.
But I want to be clear, that does not mean I sit around and wait for things to happen.
I take an active role in what I am trying to create.
And even more specifically I take ACTION.
And the thing about taking action, the thing that's quite uncomfortable... painful even... is that because my life is so full, I take a lot of messy/ imperfect action.
That's the difference between progress and stagnancy as a working mom.

The willingness to, first of all, take messy action AND then the willingness to deal with what comes next.
The matter-of-fact truth is that on the way to calling in the life you want to lead are mistakes. You just can't avoid it.

And even further than that, like WHY do we even have to brutally label every single thing a mistake? Sheesh. Can we take a moment to humanize ourselves?
I know this is the online world and that means we have to be perfect every second (snarky) but can we try to be more realistic too?

I do this ALLLLLL day long with my kids. They are always making mistakes, and I am always helping them regulate through it. I sit with them through it as they recover and the intensity in their body lessens, and then they MOVE ON. Kids are so great that way- they really know how to heal. 

And the last thing I want is for you to sit in in-action for years for fear of making a mistake. I'd rather you take imperfect action and then learn faster. And move on to the next action.

This is what folks are talking about when they say: keep going.
Keep taking the next imperfect (couragious) action.

How it all STARTED.

In my lineage Enchantment was not a luxury - it was a necessity - for survival.
In fact, Enchantment was a - DAILY - skill handed down to each generation.
The furthest back I can trace stories of this skill being used on a daily basis was in my Great Great Grandmother Julanita’s house.
Let me give you a small example….
Each day when my Great Grandfather (Julanita’s son, Margarito) came home from backbreaking work, picking in the sugar beet field, he needed to feed his 9 children and the 5 adults that lived in their tiny adobe home. As soon as he walked in the door the women were ready to hand the oldest children off to him. Not only did he now have a classroom-sized group of kids but he also needed to fish to get protein for the family of 14 dinner.
So he used the skill of enchantment to get the children to behave…
Guess what, because he played they cooperated and he was able to fulfill his daily duty.
I’ve heard this story from my Tata many times (Tata is my Grandpa and Margarito’s son).
I remember being 5 years old and my Tata would tell me this story of his dad, and then say… “Crystal, it is important for you to play. Work hard but make sure to PLAY while you do it!” .
I grew up in my Tata’s house and I remember him always having 3-5 jobs at one time. He came home TIRED each day, but also joyful, FUNNY, silly even… he brought enchantment to my life each day .

The 5 jobs were going to be there for him no matter what, they were necessary.
Just like Margarito needed to fish daily to nourish his family.
Just like I have to run my own business and house.
And I’m sure, just like you need to work as well .
One day I realized that my Tata’s directive for my life, to INCORPORATE enchantment and PLAY into everyday, was being delivered through his voice… but COMING from the lineage of ALL of my ancestors...
And they are asking me not to forget… to weave this life skill into the everyday, the mundane, the HARD even .

So this is my assignment, And i accept...
But not only that, I decided the directive is not just for me, it’s for ALL of us.
Bring more enchantment into your business, into your work, into your corporate job, and into your daily life.
For me it’s how I got my dream home, how I got my dream clients, how I got the dream relationship AND how i enjoyed the work I did along the way .
And with my whole heart I want to invite you into this way of being too!
Perhaps you bring in enchantment but it’s only on the weekends, or it’s an afterthought, or it’s super compartmentalized.
Cool, you’re on your path! … but, to me, that’s not enough… it needs to be incorporated into the everyday…
Especially if you want to enjoy the PROCESS as you make your dreams come true…
